REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: 22 September 2026
Last Updated: 22 September 2026
Dellics Travels is committed to providing transparent booking, cancellation, and refund processes for flights, hotels, holiday packages, tours, transfers, car rentals, eSIMs, visa assistance, and other travel services booked through our platform.
This Refund Policy forms part of the Dellics Travels Terms & Conditions.
1. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Refund and cancellation conditions depend on the travel product purchased, the supplier providing the service, the fare or rate selected, and the applicable laws and regulations.
Before completing a booking, customers will be shown the applicable cancellation, refund, and change conditions where such information is available.
A booking should not be considered refundable merely because a customer has not yet travelled.
Some fares and rates are fully refundable, some are partially refundable, and others are non-refundable.
Where supplier terms apply, those terms will govern the amount refundable to the customer, subject to any rights the customer has under applicable law.
2. FLIGHT BOOKINGS
Airline tickets are subject to the fare rules and conditions imposed by the relevant airline, fare provider, or ticketing carrier.
Depending on the ticket purchased:
- The ticket may be refundable;
- The ticket may be refundable subject to a cancellation fee;
- The ticket may be changeable subject to applicable fees and fare differences; or
- The ticket may be completely non-refundable.
Where an airline cancels a flight or makes a significant schedule change, Dellics Travels will assist the customer in accordance with the applicable airline rules and applicable passenger-rights laws.
Any refund received by Dellics Travels from an airline or ticketing provider will be processed to the eligible customer after applicable deductions permitted under the booking terms and applicable law.
3. HOTEL BOOKINGS
Hotel cancellation and refund conditions vary by property, room type, rate plan, and booking conditions.
A hotel booking may be:
- Fully refundable until a specified deadline;
- Refundable subject to a cancellation charge;
- Partially refundable; or
- Non-refundable.
The cancellation deadline displayed at the time of booking will apply unless applicable law provides otherwise.
If a customer cancels after the permitted cancellation deadline, the hotel or accommodation provider may retain some or all of the booking amount.
4. TOURS, ACTIVITIES AND EXPERIENCES
Tours, excursions, and activities are subject to the cancellation conditions of the relevant operator.
Where an activity is refundable, the applicable refund amount and cancellation deadline will be communicated during the booking process where available.
Certain tickets, attractions, special events, private tours, and promotional activities may be non-refundable.
5. TRANSFERS AND CAR RENTALS
Airport transfers, private transfers, and car rentals are subject to the conditions of the relevant supplier.
Cancellation fees may apply depending on:
- The time of cancellation;
- The supplier's policy;
- The vehicle or service selected; and
- Any special or promotional rate conditions.
Customers should review the cancellation terms before completing their booking.
6. HOLIDAY PACKAGES
Where Dellics Travels acts as the organiser of a package comprising two or more travel services, additional package-travel rights may apply depending on the customer's country of residence, destination, and applicable law.
For qualifying package travel, customers may have rights concerning cancellation, significant changes, supplier failure, extraordinary circumstances, and refunds.
Where applicable law provides stronger consumer protection than this Policy, the applicable law will prevail.
For qualifying EU package travel, applicable rules may provide refund rights where a package is cancelled or terminated, including in certain circumstances involving unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
7. CUSTOMER-REQUESTED CANCELLATIONS
If a customer wishes to cancel a booking, the customer must submit a cancellation request through:
Email: help@dellicstravels.com
Website: Dellics Travels
WhatsApp/Human Customer Support: +233 55 205 4174
The request should include:
- Booking reference;
- Passenger/traveller name;
- Email address used for booking;
- Service being cancelled; and
- Reason for cancellation, where required.
The effective cancellation time may be determined by the time the cancellation request is received by Dellics Travels or the relevant supplier, subject to the applicable booking terms.
8. DELLICS SERVICE FEES
Where clearly disclosed before purchase, Dellics Travels may charge a separate service, administration, cancellation, or processing fee.
Such fees may be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund where permitted by the applicable booking terms and law.
A Dellics service fee is separate from an airline, hotel, tour operator, or other supplier cancellation fee.
Where applicable law requires a fee to be reasonable or proportionate, Dellics Travels will apply the relevant legal requirements.
9. NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKINGS
Where a booking is expressly identified as Non-Refundable, Dellics Travels will normally be unable to provide a refund after purchase, except where:
- The supplier voluntarily authorizes a refund;
- The supplier cancels or materially changes the service and applicable rules provide a refund;
- Applicable law requires a refund; or
- Dellics Travels determines that an exception is appropriate.
10. REFUNDS FOLLOWING SUPPLIER CANCELLATION
If a supplier cancels a service and the customer is legally or contractually entitled to a refund, Dellics Travels will assist with the refund process.
For package travel, applicable laws may impose specific refund deadlines on the package organiser.
For standalone services such as airline tickets or hotel bookings, the refund timing may depend on the relevant supplier and payment provider.
11. REFUND PROCESSING TIME
Once a refund has been approved and the required funds have been received from the relevant supplier, Dellics Travels will initiate the refund through the applicable payment method.
The time for the funds to appear in the customer's account may vary depending on:
- Payment method;
- Issuing bank;
- Card network;
- Payment processor;
- Currency conversion;
- International banking processes; and
- Supplier processing time.
Dellics Travels does not control processing times imposed by third-party financial institutions.
12. METHOD OF REFUND
Where reasonably possible, refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the booking.
For fraud-prevention and regulatory reasons, Dellics Travels may require verification before processing a refund.
A refund may not ordinarily be transferred to a different person or unrelated payment account unless permitted by Dellics Travels and applicable law.
13. CURRENCY AND EXCHANGE-RATE DIFFERENCES
Where a booking was paid in one currency and refunded through a different currency, or where the payment provider applies a different exchange rate, the amount received by the customer may differ from the original amount charged because of exchange-rate movements, bank charges, or payment-provider fees.
Where applicable law requires otherwise, the relevant legal requirement will prevail.
14. VOUCHERS AND TRAVEL CREDITS
Where permitted, Dellics Travels or a supplier may offer a travel credit or voucher instead of a monetary refund.
A customer will not be required to accept a voucher where applicable law gives the customer a right to a monetary refund.
For qualifying package travel, applicable rules may provide specific protections concerning the use of vouchers and refund rights.
15. NO-SHOWS
If a customer fails to appear for a booked service without cancelling within the applicable cancellation period, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
No-show consequences depend on the relevant supplier's rules and may result in:
- Loss of the booking;
- Loss of the amount paid;
- Additional fees; or
- Limited refund or rebooking rights.
Customers should contact Dellics Travels as soon as possible if they expect to miss a booked service.
16. VISA REFUSALS
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, visa application fees, embassy/consular fees, third-party charges, and Dellics Travels service fees for visa assistance are separate from the cost of travel bookings.
A visa refusal does not automatically create a right to a refund of travel bookings.
Customers should review the cancellation conditions of flights, hotels, and other travel services before purchasing.
17. FORCE MAJEURE AND EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES
Events outside the reasonable control of Dellics Travels or a supplier may include, depending on the circumstances:
- Natural disasters;
- War or serious security events;
- Government restrictions;
- Public-health emergencies;
- Strikes;
- Severe weather;
- Airport closures;
- Civil unrest; or
- Other extraordinary circumstances.
The consequences of such events will depend on the applicable law, supplier conditions, and nature of the booking.
For qualifying package travel, applicable law may provide specific cancellation and refund rights where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances significantly affect the trip.
18. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Customers should contact Dellics Travels before initiating a payment dispute where possible.
If a customer initiates a chargeback for a service that has already been supplied or where the payment was otherwise validly authorized, Dellics Travels may provide the payment processor, card network, or financial institution with relevant booking and transaction records.
This does not limit any rights available to customers under applicable law.
19. REFUND REQUESTS
Refund requests can be submitted to:

20. POLICY CHANGES
Dellics Travels may update this Policy from time to time.
The version applicable to a booking will generally be the version communicated to the customer at the time of purchase, subject to mandatory changes required by applicable law.
21. APPLICABLE LAW
This Policy is subject to the laws applicable to the relevant transaction and travel service.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
